The Circle

A vibrant gathering of dancers, drummers and singers — one of the most meaningful celebrations of culture and community at Mul-Chu-Tha.

Culture & Tradition

A celebration of heritage

The pow-wow is a cherished part of the Mul-Chu-Tha celebration, bringing together dancers in regalia, drum groups and singers to honor Native culture and tradition. The sound of the drum, the color and movement of the dancers, and the spirit of the gathering create an experience that is both joyful and deeply meaningful for participants and spectators alike.

Pow-wows are a treasured tradition across Indian Country, and Mul-Chu-Tha’s gathering is a wonderful opportunity to experience this living culture firsthand.

Experience it respectfully

Visitors of all backgrounds are welcome to attend and enjoy the pow-wow. As with any cultural celebration, attending with respect and an open heart makes the experience richer for everyone. Specific schedules, participating groups and details are announced each year through the Mul-Chu-Tha office.

For the current year’s pow-wow schedule and information, see our events page or contact the office at 520-562-9713. Learn more about the fair’s history and what makes it special.
